Salton Sea
Salton Sea, an accidental saline lake approximately a 3 hour drive from the San Diego & Los Angeles. Due to the rising salinity of the water few fish survive. The shore is made up of skeletal fish remains and shells. I'll let you do the rest of the research... We stayed at the Salt Creek Primiative Campground for about $10/nite.
